Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the Marketing Agency Questions we get asked with some frequency. They include questions to ask before hiring a digital marketing agency. We’d be happy to answer any other questions you may have, including why you should work with us.

Will you assist with our marketing strategy?

Yes. Every engagement begins with strategy because it drives results. We start by identifying who you want to reach and what problems you solve for them. This typically involves creating three to five customer personas that represent your ideal buyers, decision-makers, or influencers.

Once we know who they are, we map out the full customer journey from Awareness to Engagement, Conversion, Retention, and Advocacy. This helps us craft clear messaging at each stage and maintain consistency across all platforms.

We also measure everything. You’ll get a custom dashboard so you can see what’s working, what isn’t, and where to go next.

Do you have case studies we can review?

Yes. We have several case studies that show how we help clients grow. Here are a few examples:

Coffin & Trout Fine Jewelers
Focus: Paid advertising, SEO, mobile-first strategy, social media, content planning, and a full website redesign and launch.

Henriksen Amplifiers

Stop and Go Driving School

If you'd like a case study tailored to your industry or specific goals, please don't hesitate to ask. We’re happy to share what’s most relevant to you.

Do you help with web design? Do you have website designers?

Yes, we do. Our web designers are top-notch because they don’t just design—they start by understanding your audience and your brand.

Before any design begins, they study the customer personas and journey maps we build during your strategy phase. They also take time to understand your company’s values and voice. This helps us create a website that looks great, works smoothly, and truly connects with the people you want to reach.

Do you help with content creation?

Yes. After strategy, content is the most important part of marketing.

We have a team of skilled writers who know how to explain what you do in a clear and compelling way. They can help with website copy, blogs, social media, emails, and more.

Can you help us with search engine optimization (SEO)?

SEO is a core competency at Aidan Taylor Marketing. When you start working with us – you’ll see how our customer journey approach will clarify and help identify the best keywords to help your target audience(s) find you as they move from stage to stage searching for the solutions you provide.

Can you help us with social media marketing, paid advertisements, and inbound marketing?

100% yes – we can help you attract, engage, and delight prospects to the point of becoming customers.

Do you have a list of agency partners we can review?

We partner with several technology companies to deliver our services: Google, Facebook/Instagram, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, WordPress, Shopify, Woocommerce, Google Meet, Moz Pro, Teamwork, AirTable, and Semrush, to name a few.

Who will be my point of contact?

We have excellent client representatives who will ensure your projects move forward to meet each deadline. In every meeting, they’ll discuss the metrics, what has been done, what will be done next, and address any issues or concerns. They’ll also bring in marketing strategists as needed to make course corrections.

Can you help us with goal setting in addition to marketing efforts?

We’ve been students of goal setting for decades, and have built our systems to ensure your goals are clear and actionable. However, it sometimes requires a cultural change to achieve success. We’ve found that expressing top-level goals all the way down to individual tasks is the most effective and direct path to accomplishing objectives.

What’s your longest client relationship? What’s the key to a long-term relationship when working with an agency?

Our longest client relationship began in 2005 and continues to this day. The key is to become a strategic partner. It’s not about doing (while that is important), it’s about knowing what to do to help a client move from where they are to where they want to be.

Affordability is a close second. Due to our business model, efficient use of technology, effective communication, and a focus on business objectives, we minimize rework. That keeps your marketing costs low.

What red flags can you warn us about when considering other potential agencies?

If an agency focuses only on your vibe, messaging, or color palette—but skips over strategy and measurement—you may not see real results. That’s a red flag.

Also, watch how they handle challenges. Some agencies give up when leads or sales get hard to find. They prefer easy wins and easy clients. You want a partner who sticks with it when things get tough.

Look at their track record, too. It takes a lot to stay in business for 10, 15, or 20 years. Longevity is a strong sign that they deliver.

Is there anything you would consider as a deal-breaker?

Yes. If we can’t stand behind your product or service, we won’t take the job. We’re honest about that from the start. If something doesn’t feel right, we’ll let you know.

Where is your office located? Where will we meet?

Since its inception in 2004, Aidan Taylor Marketing has been built on a work-from-anywhere concept. As a result, we’ve developed systems and processes to enable the vision. During the unfortunate pandemic situation, our approach hasn’t had to change. We continue to serve our clients in the same manner as we have always done.

The other benefit is that we’ve never felt like we had to hire from the local talent pool (whoever would be willing to drive 5 or 10 miles to a physical location). Instead, we draw the best talent from across the United States – elevating the quality of our marketing services while making progress quickly at a lower cost.

When we meet, we use Google Meet. We find video conferencing provides the essential communication elements – it’s almost as good as being there – but at a greatly reduced cost (travel, time, and hassle).

What industries do you serve?

We serve all industries.

What’s the first step?

That’s easy – just set up an appointment with us: click here. In about 15 minutes, we’ll both know if we have the chemistry to make something great happen.

How long have you been in business?

While our leadership has been doing professional digital marketing since 1995, our company was founded in 2004. We were known as ThoughtLava Marketing until we changed our company name to Aidan Taylor Marketing in 2009.

How long does it take to get a website?

In most cases, we can launch your new website within 30 to 60 days.

How often will we meet?

In most cases, we meet every two weeks to review Analytics, Work In Progress, Work Completed, and Issues/Opportunities. However, sometimes an ad hoc meeting is necessary to assist with an urgent situation or emergency. We’re always flexible.

What’s the smallest client you’ll take? What’s the largest?

It really isn’t about size. It’s about whether we believe in your products or services. And part of that is believing you have a solid vision. As it turns out most of our clients have annual revenues exceeding $5 million annually, with the average somewhere around $70 million. We also don’t tend to work with clients larger than $300 million, although it happens. Our largest client has over $5 billion in annual revenue. Again, it comes down to us having a strong belief in your solutions.
